Ternary VM (TVM)
Author Message

Hi,

Interesting logic :-)

but in my case i am going to use all 729 variations, you can have a look at the following table:

http://tvm.manojky.net/csv/TernaryWithCharC.htm

and the applet i have made, is actually based on a Ternary API which I am working on,
Although presently I am facing problem in using all of the symbols.

So i am trying to look beyond 256 :-) and it has to be only 25%

Thanks,

The question is how you plan to use spare 473 variations if you have only 256 initially?

Yes, your question is right?
That's the reason why i am going for virtual machine kind of thing....its still a concept. I need to work on it..
If you have some suggestion, we can work on it.

So basically I am trying to come up with a Ternary Virtual Machine (TVM)

Hi all,

I have updated the table
http://tvm.manojky.net/csv/TernaryWithCharC.htm

with unicode values, Can someone help in filling values for
cryllic 256 to 362, as i am not sure what char to include and what not to.

once this is done, i will be able to release XML file for this tryte table.

Following applet has been updated with the unicode display based on the table mentioned above:

http://tvm.manojky.net/TryteEditor/

Thanks,

In your table I see 27 capital cyrillic characters with numbers from 272 to 299, but actually it should be 33 capital and 33 small characters

Indeed, I see no some cyrillic letters in the table. In fact there should be more cyrillic letters than 66 of them.

There you can find cyrillic letters with their unicode values - Cyrillic at Wikipedia. The article is in russian, since english version is wrong.

You can include letters from "Основной русский алфавит" with values from 0410 to 044F (do not forget 0401 and 0451 extracodes).

Also letters from "Дополнительные знаки для современных славянских языков" would be very nice to have, since it contain letters for other moders languages, that use cyrillic.

Hi,

I have added char from 0410 to 04ff (256 to 319)
we are still left with 320 to 362 i.e. 42 values are remaining.

pls refer:
http://tvm.manojky.net/csv/TernaryWithCharC.htm

if you can provide me unicodes for "Дополнительные знаки для современных славянских языков" ,then I can add them.

Please add 0401 after 0415 and 0451 after 0435.

Done,

Pls visit
http://tvm.manojky.net/csv/TernaryWithCharC.htm

to see the changes, its now from 256 to 321

and regarding 322 to 362, we can keep them unassigned for future use, more likely it should be left for users to use their customized fonts.

Thanks,

Oh, yes - 66 (33+33) is only for modern russian cyrillic characters and as I can see on that Wikipedia page cyrillic family is HUGE :)

Probably there are some strong reasons to add a few additional characters to extend your cyrillic family to complete Ukranian (40 mln. native speakers) and Belarusian (10 mln. native speakers) alphabets:

0490 and 0491 - Ukranian and obsolete in Belarusian
0404 and 0454 - Ukranian
0406 and 0456 - Ukranian and Belarusian
0407 and 0457 - Ukranian
040E and 045E - Belarusian

And you may even support Serbian (11 mln. native speakers):

0402 and 0452
0409 and 0459
040A and 045A
040B and 045B
040F and 045F

Bulgarian alphabet can be covered by Russian characters only - visual difference is insignificant.

A few additional characters are needed to complete Macedonian and Abkhazian alphabets, but they are used not so widely as previous ones...

P.S. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Cyrillic_letters

Great! Is it possible to create list of your table's supported languages?
