Nothing to stop someone using ZXodus for a strategy game. The 3D part doesn't really run fast enough for real-time combat like ZXoom though. Personally I'm planning on using the engine to create a cRPG. Although I'm writing it in English, I'm planning to release it in Russian and Spanish first. I've got translators lined up, but I am going to need a hand converting the game from tape to TR-DOS at some point. The main issue will be converting the Rainbow processor, which currently "cheats" and uses the ULA contention to line up the attribute updates.
