usb2isa-r - USB 2.0 to ISA card ROHS

Но Ars Technologies нашли решение:"usb2isa card, which provides a way for an ISA card
to work via a USB 2.0 port".

Quote:
If you need to use your ISA card, but your new computer or laptop lacks ISA slots, use our usb2isa card to convert your USB port to a virtual ISA slot.
Dimensions: 6 X 1.80 X 0.5 in., 15.0 X 4.5 X 1.5 cm.
ARS Technologies’ USB2ISA® allows plugging and handling of any standard or custom ISA card. Our usb2isa provides simple migration from ISA form factor to USB, full access to memory and I/O space of the ISA card, and handling of IRQ and DMA events.

The usb2isa functions on these Operating Systems:
Windows - 98, ME, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008, 7
Linux - 2.6.xx and 3.0.xx kernels
Mac OS X - 10.5, 10.6, 10.7 (for developers)

ISA. :kruto:

hello.

I'm new in this forum.
Please excuse my posting in english language.
I'm not able to read your language.
Would you be so kind as to help me in understanding
this what you are discussing here in this posting?

I found your thread: "making some adaptor from USB to ISA-slot",
and I found some interesting links here,
for example to the "cypress" with this IC: CY7C68013

Does I understand correctly,
that you try to make such an adaptor like the card from "arstech",
which costs ca. 149 dollars?
So, I'm interested in making such an adaptor, too.

Do you have some diagram for this circuit?
There in your links above I found a diagramm
only for "USB to IDE", but not "USB to ISA".

And what about the software or the driver to work at Windows or at linux?-

So, thank you very much, if you could help me in understanding.

Greetings from germany,
gerhard.-

Oh, thank you!

That's some success,
Now I understand this posting.
(...but I don't know what to do with this task: USB<>ISA...)

greetings,
gegse.
