Need Ternary Algorithms for Image Search

Hello All,

I am also working on a project to host material library for 3D objects for "Yafaray", it is hosted at

http://yafaray.manojky.net

Next i want to implement a way to SEARCH the Materials based on the COLORS of materials and IMAGES,

Just wanted to know if any one has done something like this with Ternary Logic, that would have resulted in faster execution of the code/algorithms/SEARCH.

I know about works in this area, but sadly I can't privide a link to docs and results. Only one thing I remember - the research was made somewhere in Saint Petersburg's State University of Russia.

Hi,

I enabled the Material/Image search based on color selection at http://yafaray.manojky.net/

but its not based on ternary logic ...neways i will look forward for ternary algorithm
